This Order is bestowed by the government to outstanding individuals recognising their service to their country’s interest and its’ development, recipients serve as an example of enriching universal human values.

WINE TASTING - A comprehensive tasting including new vintages & wines.

A great honour was bestowed on MHF&W when we were invited by the new Hungarian Ambassador to introduce a selection of fine Hungarian wines to esteemed diplomatic guests at a fabulous reception at the Embassy.

2011 saw the debut appearance of MHF&W at the Specialist Importers Trade Tasting.

It was a busy time first in Manchester at Bridgewater Hall and then in London at The Great Halls, Vinopolis

To celebrate the beautiful collection of Hungarian Treasures malux Hungarian Food & Wine were invited by the Royal Academy of Art to host a series of Hungarian wine tastings for their corporate guests.

The prestigious award from the Hungarian Wine Academy adds to a growing list of accolades for Lõrincz. His famous wines include Napbor and the flagship Merengõ Bikavér Superior. His complex Magylos Kadarka suggests a bright future for the once widespread indigenous grape which was wiped out in Eger under communism. In 2007 he was named as the best Eger winemaker and received the Hungarian order of merit. He has also been named "Person of the Year" in Poland.
